"The Writing Desk" was created as an icon for a podcast. The above images are rendered in Autodesk Maya 2015 using the Arnold renderer. The objects were modelled entirely in Maya except the wax candle which was sculpted in Zbrush and retopologized using Maya. All textures were created in a mixture of Photoshop and PaintTool SAI. The candle flame was created with Maya Fluid Effects
